This is a division of a $5.5 Billion, publicly held corporation, and they are aggressive, having made 2 acquisitions in the past 2 years. Their R & D center is constantly developing new leading edge products. Working out of corporate headquarters, this is a newly created position open due to company growth. There are currently 2 staff in the department. Reporting to a Supply Chain Manager with 30+ years of service, your wide duties will include purchasing, analyzing logistics, production planning & scheduling, inventory analysis, and suggesting improvements to management. They are installing a new Microsoft 365 ERP system this year. You’ll be working with third party contract manufacturers as well as their manufacturing sites. This is a key position–they specifically requested someone strong enough to handle an operations management role in the future. Travel will be limited to 10% or so. The salary range is open. They will certainly go $85K – $110K, and I will show them qualified professionals with higher requirements. Requires permanent U.S. residency, a BS degree in a technical field, Food Science preferred, 4+ years or more of Buyer/Planner or Materials Specialist experience in a manufacturing environment, and a strong desire for career advancement.
