Chemical Engineer- Aerospace Electroplating Greater Waterbury, CT

Looking to break into the aerospace industry? A small division of a highly profitable $1.3B aerospace component manufacturer seeks a Chemical Engineer with electroplating background to support several key operations. These include heat treating incorporating copper plating and stripping, thin film lubrication coating, and elastomeric injection molding. The position is open due to a promotion. Reporting to the Special Process Manager, you’ll be working in a 3 year old facility with all new instruments and processing equipment. They are an aggressive growing organization which offers you plenty of opportunity for career advancement. This publicly held corporation started out with one facility in 1992 with $20-30MM in sales. They now have 31 facilities in 5 countries, with $1.3B in sales. Target salary ranges from $75,000 to $80,000, and I will show them qualified ChemEs to $85,000. Requires permanent U.S. residency, a BS in Chemical Engineering, and 2 years of electroplating experience in a manufacturing environment. A drug test and a criminal background check is part of the interview process.
