Entry Non-Destructive Test Engineer- Suffolk County, NY

A highly profitable, privately held 30+-year-old manufacturer of custom automated systems seeks an Entry Level Non-Destructive Testing Engineer. They rank #1 or #2 in their niche of custom automated systems worldwide with locations in six countries, and they have a two-year backlog of orders. This company serves a wide range of industries which includes medical, electronics, food, industrial, automotive, security, oil & gas, and nuclear. The aggressive management has put together several partnerships with state-of-art robotics manufacturers. These custom systems incorporate motion control devices, robotics, material handling systems, pneumatics, motor drives, gearboxes, conveyors, high power electronic subsystems and more, all controlled by PLCs and CAN-based controls with proprietary software. After 2 weeks training in New York, you’ll be traveling the U.S. 30% of the time, providing Digital Radiography and Computed Tomography services directly with customers in the aerospace, automotive, military, and nuclear industries. Salary starts at $60,000, and I will submit experienced NDT Engineers with requirements to $90,000. Requires permanent U.S. residency, a BS in Physics, Engineering, or Industrial Technology, an interest in travel, strong math skills, a people-oriented personality, and a positive attitude. Any experience traveling, or exposure to digital radiography or computed tomography is strongly preferred. The interview process includes a criminal background check and drug test.
