Industrial Electrician- Greater Waterbury, CT

Looking for stability? Operations began in this highly profitable, stable manufacturing job shop in 1944. This family-held company’s annual sales runs between $40MM and $80MM with just 80 employees! Much of their work centers on the automotive and consumer product industries. Their facility has modern equipment, is quite clean, and is air-conditioned. They are running two shifts, and the opening is on first shift. This shift has been running from 6AM to 4:30 PM, so 10 hours weekly overtime will be included in your compensation. In addition to upgrading and troubleshooting PLC-based manufacturing equipment, you will be working on automation projects. Salary ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 an hour, depending on level of experience. Including 10 hours of overtime weekly, this brings the annual compensation to between $71,500 to $93,600. Requires permanent U.S. residency, three or more years of Controls Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, and solid experience selecting, configuring, programming, and troubleshooting PLCs using HMI. Most of the time this engineer will be out on the manufacturing floor, vs. working in the office. Any experience in developing controls for automation projects is preferred.
