Looking to break into the aerospace industry? This newly created position is open due to a promotion to Manager in another division. Known for their highly engineered products, this is one the most profitable divisions in the international corporation. One of their products holds 80% of the global market share. This manufacturer of aerospace components, a division of a $1.3 Billion publicly-held corporation, is conveniently located in a beautiful, clean facility. Their customers include a long list of Fortune 50 aerospace corporations. Since the aggressive parent corporation has had a goal of making one acquisition a year to increase market share, career opportunities abound. You’ll be the “left hand” to the Quality Manager. I understand the manager is knowledgeable and supportive of their staff. The duties look typical, developing inspection procedures, training staff, handling quality audits, etc. You’ll be eventually be assigned to a brand new product line, working to AS9100 and NADCAP specifications. Travel is expected to be only 10% of the time. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000, depending on level of experience. Requires permanent U.S. residency, several years of Quality Engineering experience with a manufacturer, the ability to read blueprints, and fine interpersonal skills. Any experience with manufacturing CNC machining operations is a shoo-in. A four-year degree is strongly preferred, but they will consider equivalent experience. A criminal background check is part of the interview process.
