Reporting to the PhD V.P. of Engineering, and working with 2 Chief Engineers, you’ll be leading new product development projects, handling larger strategic efforts, working directing with customers, directing design, design reviews, internal and external testing, engineering process initiatives, mentoring younger engineers, and more. Some products incorporate electromagnetics. This will involve multidisciplinary research, computer simulation, FEA, solid modeling, CFD, materials engineering, electronics, and more. They use ORCAD for electrical layout and simulation, and SolidWorks for mechanical modeling. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000, depending on level of experience, and I will present qualified candidates up to $125,000. Aerospace industry experience is preferred, but not required.
