Like to be the sole Electronic Engineer in a small engineering department? This is a smaller subsidiary of a dynamic, $5.5 B publicly held parent corporation. Their stock has jumped by 157% in the past 5 years. This offers you the best of both worlds—the close-knit atmosphere of a small company with the superior benefits of a Fortune 1000 corporation. A senior engineer will provide initial support. Using ORCAD for layout and simulation, as well as MathCAD and Matlab for model development, the analog/digital design involves signal conditioning. Product designs include flow, proximity, temperature, and speed sensors, thermocouples, and associated cable harnesses. You’ll handle entire projects working directly with customers defining requirements, addressing technical concerns, and providing status reports. There could be a little travel, much of it local. Target salary ranges from $95,000 to 110,000, depending on level of experience, and I will show them qualified candidates to $115,000. Benefits are excellent, including a cafeteria medical plan with Anthem BC/BS, Kaiser, or HSA, prescription drug plan, flexible spending accounts, dental, life, short & long term disability, credit union, employee assistance program, 401 (k), 12 holidays, tuition aid after 1 year, sick days, discounts on AFLAC, pet insurance, identity theft insurance, and legal aid, and more. Relocation expenses are available. Due to Dept. of Defense contracts, all employees are U.S. citizens. Requires U.S. citizenship, a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, and at least 5 years of analog/digital product development experience on electronic components including some sensor design. Aerospace product development experience is strongly preferred, but not absolutely required. A drug screen and background check is part of the hiring process.
