This small $8MM division of a $727MM publicly held, international corporation has a fine track record of promoting from within. Since they are constantly acquiring new divisions, opportunities for career advancement abound. Reporting to a dynamo General Manager with engineering background, this position has considerable visibility in the corporation. Based in their local facility, you will be working with Manufacturing Reps selling precision metal components throughout the East Coast to the medical device, military, industrial controls, and automation industries, traveling 50% to 60% of the time. This includes training and assessing manufacturing reps, and also making direct presentations to accounts unassigned to manufacturing reps. You’ll have a three month training program, a company car, and company credit card for expenses. Duties include working with the Business Development Manager to establish manufacturing rep performance metrics, identifying opportunities for growth, conducting quarterly reviews, accompanying reps on sales calls, making monthly reports to corporate management, attending trade shows, and more. Starting salary is $90K with a bonus which could add another 10%.
